School gardens

Creating a small or large school garden is a great tool for nurturing children's love and curiosity for nature and the earth, forming skills and knowledge for growing their own food, and for some, perhaps, the first introduction to their future career. What is the school garden for?

The piloting of school garden projects and the creation of all supporting methodological materials and instructions was carried out within the framework of the "Gardens of Victory" initiative, which was implemented by the international technical assistance project "Supporting Governmental Reforms in Ukraine" (SURGe), financed by the Government of Canada and implemented by the company Alinea International.
