The Pollinator Plan is about all of us coming together to try to create an Ireland where pollinators can survive and thrive. It aims to ensure the sustainability of our food, avoid additional economic impacts on agriculture, and protect the health of the environment.
It’s a great way to spend time in nature, and is good for both your mental and physical health.
It's a good way to learn about gardening and sharing knowledge.
It's a rewarding way to meet your neighbours and community

Excited to report on new walkway through the woodland area! Added amenity for our lovely natural resource! Looking forward to getting planting soon too..
Lots of cleaning , new fencing , new walks and additional seating make our pollinator plan merge with the general development of the area. The bees are buzzing already and pollen count is good!!
Bees can see the colour purple more clearly than any other colour, and some of the best bee plants, such as lavender, alliums, buddleja and catmint, have purple flowers. That said, many flowers in other colours will still attract bees, so don’t pull them up!
We will plant lots of colours this year to get our space happening! Laverder soon !
