Welcome to Seniors Moving with a Purpose. We are a part of Cycling Without Age on ChangeX. Cycling Without Age is all about reconnecting older adults with their local communities by venturing out on trishaw rides with new and old friends. This concept has been around since 2012. Our goal is to build and strenghthen relationships through the Jeremiah Project. This is an intiative to change the trajectory of the lives of young who have encountered the criminal justice system. There will be an restorative justice component where they volunteer their time to make positive impact in their community. That is where Seniors Moving with a Purpose comes in. Seniors will get a chance to pass down some of their hard earned wisdom as they connect with these young men through sharing their stories. The young men will get a chance to see how the giving their time adds value to their lives. It is a win-win situation as lives are changed through the process of engagment. I can't wait to make it happen. I need your help. Together we can make a difference in changing our communty. This is about building relationships by sharing stories, adventures, and getting out of the four walls and living life to the fullest regardless of age.
