The Santry Community Walled Garden was formed in 2010 and is a large plot (4 acres) growing a huge variety of vegetables, fruits and plants. We have a Kitchen Garden, Heritage Orchard and a front Ornamental section, an apiary, polytunnel and wildlife area. We have a large and diverse membership (over 100 people) and have developed strong links with other volunteer and community groups.
We are always looking for new members so if you're interested do get in touch or come and visit us. If you'd like to start your own allotment or turn your back garden into a veg plot this is a great place to start - come and learn with us. There are always lots of experienced gardeners on hand to advise and you can pick up so many skills and tips to bring back to your own plot.

I love the flexibility of being able to come when it suits - an allotment needs regular attention by the tenant gardener. The communal ownership of SCG is liberating !
