A ONG Live Lab was founded to enable young people from 13 to 25 years old to be transformative agents for the creation and regeneration of the world in which we live. Pesquisas show that a Geração Z tem alto engajamento socioambiental, se preocupa com as quesas climáticas e quer mudar o mundo, comênciado pela sua comunidade. Based on this, LiveLab creates and applies methodologies compatible with the natural characteristics and trends of this generation, transforming them into games, so that they can peacefully overcome the challenges of the current world by jumping.
The methodology of LiveLab challenges teams of young people (called Leagues) so that, starting from playful challenges in collaborative games, we mobilize their communities and solve real challenges in their territories. A LiveLab already idealized 9 collaborative games, impacted more than 600,000 lives and supported the creation of more than 2,000 leagues in Brazil. In addition, it accounts for more than 150 volunteers and more than 300 partners that I have gathered for the purpose of "awakening the power of the collective to live transformative days".
Our co-founder, Edgard Gouveia is a visionary, Ashoka & BMW Foundation Fellow who dedicates his career to mobilizing teenagers, young adults and adults through collective actions to create small community revolutions. By projecting and applying virtual games, games and playful activities and cooperatives, it encourages and inspires people to work together to transform themselves, their communities, their immediate environment and the world around them.
