We recommend setting aside approximately 2 hours for an initial online training session for you and your team. During this session, users will gain an understanding of the Play Hub tools and resources. Once you start implementing the programme, we recommend you conduct Kids Collab activities on a daily or weekly basis. The Play Hub offers a range of activities that vary in duration from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Users can choose the activities that best suit their needs and preferences, making it a flexible and adaptable resource.


Receive your Kids Collab registration email

Once you have completed your ChangeX 30 Day Challenge and your funding has been released, you will receive an email from the Kids Collab Team that will facilitate the registration process. This email will outline the following:

If you're implementing in South Africa:

  • Links to the Kids Collab Play Hub Printable Handbooks 
  • Selection of available online training timeslots for yourself and your team
  • You will be able to opt for a Kids Collab username and password so that you can explore the Online Play Hub if you have access to technology and data.

If you're implementing in the UK:

  • Kids Collab username and password so that you can explore the Online Play Hub prior to taking the training in the event of any questions.  
  • Selection of available online training timeslots for yourself and your team

Get trained on the Kids Collab Play Hub Resources 

You and your team are expected to attend a +/- 2 hour online training session with the Kids Collab team. This training will introduce you to the platform's features, the content, and how to effectively integrate the resources into your children's daily routine.


Access Kids Collab's knowledge-based resources

Dive into the knowledge-based resources designed by our healthcare professionals. These materials provide essential insights into fundamental movement skills, healthy habit-building, and promoting overall well-being in children aged 2-6.

If you're implementing in South Africa: You will need to print your Kids Collab ready-to-print Play Hub Handbooks (the link will be made available to you once you have been approved via ChangeX for funding)

If you're implementing in the UK: All the resources can be explored on the Kids Collab Online Platform


Source the required sports equipment provided in the equipment checklist

To put the engaging activities and playful strategies you've acquired into action, you'll require the necessary equipment. Kids Collab has thoughtfully compiled a recommended equipment list (accessible in the resources section) to assist you in identifying the materials and tools required for implementation.


Start to PLAY! Integrate the Kids Collab activities into your daily routine

Implement what you've learned by integrating movement into your daily interactions with children. Kids Collab offers a variety of activities that can be incorporated into classroom, caregiving, or community settings.
