As we continue to expand what we do and create at Aura Homestead, we've become increasingly aware of our dependence on a fragile relationship between ability to grow our food and our local pollinators.
Last year we welcomed honeybees with the help of a local beekeeper, but this year we'd like to do even more and create a thriving prairie/meadow right out our back door. This will be filled with native pollinator host plants and will be a beautiful place for our homeschooled children, our friends, and our community to interact with creation.
