Jo Goodyear is a professionally qualified medical herbalist and botanist based in Blackrock, Cork city.

Jo will talk about growing and harvesting lavender in Tom Fahy Park, Passage West, then outline the properties and uses of lavender, followed by a demonstration on a few things to make with lavender - room spray, soda drink, sleep pillows, lavender-infused sugar and honey.

Participants will have opportunity to make their own skin-soothing lavender bath sachets to take home.
Notes with all the information and recipes we use on the night will be available.
