The AWS InCommunities Calgary Fund is open to existing groups and individuals (once they form a team) to start new projects, or expand an existing project, in their community.
The project must address one or more of the following themes:
- STEM/STEAM Education
- Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability
- Inclusion, Diversity and Equity (emphasis on Truth and Reconciliation (Indigenous))
- Homelessness & Food Insecurity
- Health & Well-being
Examples of eligible groups include schools, universities, colleges, daycares, hospitals and hospital rehabilitation centers, mental health facilities, community gardens, neighborhood groups, senior citizen centers, and community centers.
The project must take place in Calgary or surrounding areas.
