The Kids Collab's Play Hub provides all the neccessary knowledge, tools, and resources to enhance physical education, fundamental movement skills, mindfulness and well-being in children ages 2-6 years.
Physical development is often overlooked during critical preschool years; low physical activity and sedentary behaviour track from early childhood and as a result can lead to health-related issues later on in life, such as obesity, diabetes and several cardiovascular diseases. In saying this, there are a number of barriers to children being physically active, ranging from the effect of technology, lack of support and resources for educators, parents' lack of time and competing distractions, lack of access to appropriate play settings and most recently the impact of the Covid pandemic. Considering the above, Kids Collab has developed a programme with a single vision to improve physical development and well-being of children in the early years by supporting and equipping a child’s biggest role players (educators, parents and community members) with the necessary tools, resources and knowledge.

We recommend setting aside approximately 2 hours for an initial online training session for you and your team. During this session, users will gain an understanding of the Play Hub tools and resources.
Once you start implementing the programme, we recommend you conduct Kids Collab activities on a daily or weekly basis. The Play Hub offers a range of activities that vary in duration from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. Users can choose the activities that best suit their needs and preferences, making it a flexible and adaptable resource.
