Hello👋 ! First of all thank you for letting us participate in such a beautiful project 🙏🏻 . With your funding we were able to create a beautiful bee friendly and pollinator friendly garden as well as a Bee🐝Hotel. We used the funds to buy seeds and also transplants of beautiful flowers of different colors and fragrances to attract the bees , we were also able to create fencing with our own hands🖐 to keep our goats🐐 out of the garden ! We were able to purchase tools to work on the fencing and potting soil all organic Ofcourse . We also build with bamboo our Bee🐝 Hotel which is open now for all bees and pollinators to come ! We believe we will make a great impact first in our community since we are surrounded by agricultural farms in our MEDINA County TX region and by having our garden then we can house some wondering bees🐝 and provide a safe place to stay and be able to return to their homes without getting lost 🙏. We also think we have made an impact with our community since we posted our announcement of our bee garden , we had over 500 organic views on Facebook and we hope we serve as inspiration to our friends and family. We are also planning to start giving clases on building bee🐝hotels in our area since we really believe is so needed due to all the farms around . Thank you for funding our project. We had some trial an errors with seeds but we are learning ourselves ! Welcome to your creation of "Farm Yoga Busy Bees🐝! We hope we can make you proud 👏👏👏🙏❤️

Hello 👋! Greetings from Farm Yoga Busy Bees 🐝. Just coming in to show you our progress so far into our Bee 🐝 Garden ! We are building the fence that will keep our goats from coming in hehe 😂 and we created a green house inside the new bee garden! We have started our seeds with many different kinds of flowers for pollinators. We also planted a pink hawthorn shrub for the bees and two blue berry trees . We created a hanging basket with petunias and sweet potato vine as accents. We created an outdoor table ornament with different color cosmos flowers . And we have on the ground queens crown vine ( a favorite of bees ) growing already ! Thank you ChangeX for this project , in this challenging times it has kept us busy and happy 🙏🏻♥️🐝🐝. Still not done yet 👍🏻👍🏻 we got a lot more work to do !
Hi 👋. We calculated that our Farm Yoga Busy Bees 🐝 garden will consist of 5,227 square feet which represents 3% of our 4 acre mini farm . We will start by fencing the area to create a boundary for the bee garden that we will build ourselves ( 40 8 foot fence panels at $25 each ) We then plan to purchase pollinator friendly flower seeds from our favorite store Baker Creek heirloom seeds. They will include : a) Yarrow polish pastel mix (100 seeds) $3.00 b) Yarrow Parker’s variety (900 seeds) $2.50 c) Yarrow Colorado mix (50 seeds ) $2.50 d) Asters China (200 seeds ) $2.50 e) Ageratum (100 seeds ) $2.50 f) black eye Susan vine “cosmic candy mix “ (15 seeds ) $4.00 and we plan to put this vine along the fence which will include queens crown vine ( free because we have seeds already ) g) Canterbury Bells (125 seeds ) $ 3.00. For our soil we want to use mushroom 🍄 compost $8.00 a bag. NO MULCH needed 👍.
We believe we can impact our neighborhood because most of our neighbors have gardens and are growing food on their mini farms. Our pollinators will help their gardens succeed as well as will keep our bees happy. We believe our garden will be beneficial as a bee sanctuary and hopefully we can increase the bee population of our community!
1: fencing = $1000
2: seeds = $250 ( for a start )
