Hello,
Unfortunately, on this occasion, you have not been successful in your application to the Energia Get Ireland Growing Fund.
We are as disappointed as you are but with over 700 applications for 85 awards we had some really difficult choices to make. We wanted to make sure that there was a good balance between completely new and existing community food growing projects and that as many groups across the island of Ireland were supported.
Please don't be too disheartened or let this news stop the plans you have for your great project. We know that you would have put the money to good use and whilst we can't help you with funding this time around, we can give you lots of support, information and advice that can help you realise your growing dreams. If you haven't had a chance to do so already, connect with us via Facebook or Twitter, or both. It would be great if you sign up to our ezine - we love to feature great community food growing projects so let us know if you'd like to take part! Our ezine always contains heaps of useful information about all things growing and our GIY news.
Your opinion matters a lot to us and every bit of feedback is really important so that we can grow and improve what we do for you. The survey should take no longer than 3 minutes to complete.
Thank you in advance and we really appreciate your time.
Voting for The Today Show garden is still open. There are three gardens hoping to win €5000 and there can only be one winner so pick your winning community group and fingers crossed they win.
We know this is not the news you were hoping for but we’re really glad to have you as part of our GIY Community and we are here when you need us.
Síona (on behalf of the GIY and Energia Get Ireland Growing Team).
Síona Stokes,
Community & Project Coordinator.
