Des Moines Area Community College Urban Food Forest is located on the Urban campus in the hub of Des Moines. A half-acre high production edible forest with fruit trees, perennials, annual crops, and more. We are striving to connect our community with fresh and local produce. We will offer several different learning events throughout 2023 to teach you how to grow your own food as well as prepare whole food plant-based meals.
