I had some technical problems with my ChangeX account, so I only managed to get back in properly this morning.
At last week's launch, I seem to remember somebody mentioning something about people with disabilities. Would it be an idea to make contact with Employability Limerick? I know Ursula McKensie there fairly well.

This is great to hear. I know a couple of people with disabilities and very good qualifications for whom remote working can be a great solution.

Hi Folks, is "Smart City Limerick" on board with the Grow Remote initiative?
There are some very good people involved in Smart City Limerick. Additionally, a key guy in "Smart City" in it's entirety is a guy from Limerick. He is the Programme Lead for Dublin. Some of these folks could provide alot of weight and advice to Grow Remote.

Great to see such a large attendance last night. I'm currently back in Limerick after 16 years in Dublin and looking for roles leading Tech Support/Account Management/Operations teams. If anyone out there has any guidance/advice to point me in the right direction would love to hear it :-)

Hi Alan, We have provisionally set the 8th of April ( Wed 6pm -8pm ) for the next meeting, Need to check with Innovate Limerick on room availability and if there is a clash with another event. We have also been invited to host a stand at the upcoming career fair on the 2nd of March (Mon 10am-4pm) to promote the next meeting and engage with wannabe remote workers. We are looking for volunteers to man the stand ( even for a few hours on a shift pattern)
