Our Men’s Shed is a community-based, non-commercial organisation which is open to all men from Midleton and the surrounding region.
The primary activity of the 'shed' is the provision of a safe, friendly and inclusive environment where the men are able to gather and/or work on meaningful projects at their own pace, in their own time and in the company of other men, and where the primary objective is to advance the health and well-being of the participating men. It is also a place to chat, have a cuppa, play a game of cards, or just relax and enjoy the company of like-minded men.
Men’s sheds may look like a shed in your back yard yet they innovatively share some characteristics of both community education and health promotion projects.
We are affiliated to the Irish Men's Shed Association, from which we get direction and assistance with setting up our shed.

We are delighted to let you know that we will have a stand at @scartleighns (Saleen) on Saturday next, where we will have a selection of our hand-made items on display for sale. There will be loads going on there for the afternoon; food stalls, craft stalls and more, so please come along, enjoy the afternoon and support this very worthy cause.

On Saturday we will have a showcase and sale of a range of hand-made items we make in the shed. The sale will take place in Midleton Farmer's Market from 9.00am to 1.00pm and is being organised to raise much needed funds for the maintenance and upkeep of our Men's Shed. The link below shows a selection of the items we will have on sale on the day. We can take payment by cash or card

Thanks a million to Tesco Midleton for selecting Midleton Mens Shed 2018 as one of the 3 groups to benefit from their Community Fund this time around. Please support us with your 'Blue Tokens' if you shop in Tesco, and please ask friends and family to support us too! As Tesco say themselves, Every Little Helps!
Well, we've been very busy working on the stage props for Aghada Centre Theatre Group's upcoming production of Nanny PopPpins. We're nearly finished at this stage, and so we should be as tickets are now on sale for the show, and rehearsals are well under way.
We had a great and wide ranging discussion at our meeting on Friday last, and the chocolates from Aghada Theatre Group went down an absolute treat. At our next meeting on Friday at 11.30 we're hoping to have the Community Garda come in and talk to us about Anti Social behaviour in the locality
