Hi everyone, just heard about Grow Remote on RTE Radio 1’s Reignite yesterday. Been working remote in Wexford for over two years, really looking forward to meeting you all!

Great to have you here Caroline! John and the Wexford crew have been doing amazing things, I know they'll be delighted to have you join them. There is info via the website too around who we are and some guides on getting started (obviously you won't be needing that!), you might find it useful to share with others. And if you are into Slack we have a community workspace that can be joined from the site - growremote.ie - we host a community wide coffee via Zoom on Tuesdays at 3pm (Irish time).

Just some news, grow remote is starting a jobs club. It will launch a bit more formally in September. So if you want to help out with the Wexford chapter version and make a diference then drop me a note. JA

Lovely stuff
Thanks to you- our members. our supporters, and our followers on FB. This group started in early May and has reached 40 members. Along the way, we lost a couple of members as they returned to their home countries or changed roles in their organisations.
It has been an interesting 3 months. We had some great talks on sustainability, property prices, managing your day to day work, and finally, the last session was on how to make sure work does not take over and drain you out.
Our regular first and third Friday meetups are on hold now for August and will return in September. We will hold, COVID permitting, our first face to face meet up then. Probably with a pizza somewhere in the county!
We love the developments around remote work and are happy to see the new Government is making policy in this area.
But that is for them, in the meantime, Heather is planning the improv sessions when she returns from being a teaching ambassador in Spain. There are 2 slots left so join in before they are gone. As the saying goes, when they are gone...
Feel free to reach out and encourage others to join as we have an active time ahead. In the meantime, take a break, it's been a tough 2020.
A huge congratulations to John and the chapter, it's been amazing to watch the chapter develop. We look forward to supporting you all when you return, we are working on a few initatives and will update you all via John.
