This Welcome Dinner at the Stables in The Fumbally, Dublin 8 is a wonderful opportunity to meet people living in your community over a shared meal. People arrive in Ireland every day but can find it hard to find their place in a new society, often not having the opportunity to meet and talk to others who live here. On the other hand, many Irish people do not know any newly arrived immigrants in their community. This dinner will bring together new arrivals and Irish natives to share food, culture and language.

Can I bring my 17 year old and 9 year old. We will bring food and drink also no problems. Also do you have a Facebook event page? Might be easier more familiar for people to get involved. Thanks and really looking forward to this.
Ah brilliant Katie! For some reason i couldnt see these messages earlier!
Thanks for your suggestion. I have been in touch with the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland who have let the IFI and MAI know about the dinner!
Katie have you thought of visiting the mosque and asking would anybody there like to come. I'm just thinking there may be people there who are feeling vulnerable now and it might help even to know stuff like this is happening. I can go if you like. Have you any flyers /hard copies of event I could bring. I used to have a contact there. I'm sure he's still around.
