We are now booked for a group visit to the GIY GROW HQ, on Saturday 6 May. About ten of you have expressed interest, but more are welcome and let me know if you need a lift. Otherwise we will all just meet up there. The programme is as follows:

11:00 Meet for Coffee (free) at GROW HQ, Ardkeen roundabout, on the Dunmore road, Waterford, directly across from the Waterford Hospital, see address details below.

11:30 Walk & Talk with the Garden Team, Tour of Building & Veg Plot (€10 per person)
Led by the Head Gardener Richard Mee, this is an insight into what's growing in the gardens at GROW HQ. It's a chance to ask questions and have a chat about what's growing in your garden too. Each month the talk is about something new as plants mature, new seeds are sown, as the soil depletes, nutrients are replenished, as weeds and pests persist…plenty of opportunity to see, hear and ask lots of questions!

12: 30 Lunch
If you want to stay with the group for a delicious fresh-picked lunch in the GROW cafe, the general menu and prices would be a choice of
a) Main course lunch ordered from menu on the day €10 - €14
b) soup and sandwich plus tea €12
c) coffee and a scone €5
d) glass of organic apple/orange juice €2
