Welcome to GIY New Ross! We want to inspire and empower you to grow some of your own food. Why not share the joy of growing with people in your local community. It's free to join and we welcome anybody to our meetings, no matter what level of experience you have.
We also visit gardens when we can and help new gardeners with a work visit too. In the summer we grow and maintain The Edible Quayside - an urban vegetable and fruit display in New Ross town.
For more information contact the local champion Sara Whelan by email: [email protected].

We usually meet on the third Tuesday of each month, except July, August and December, at 7pm in New Ross Library, but it can vary, so check under Events.
Steering Committee : We would love to have more people involved in organising our meetings, topics and events. Please send an email if you'd be interested.
[email protected] is my email address.
Ok, kind of figured that and understandable. I think we are all trying to regroup in some way. I'll share my email and once I hear from you, I'll share my mobile number. Many thanks Rohana.
Hi Jack, I'm afraid at the moment the group is not very active. We were a smallish group anyway and during the pandemic things fell off and we haven't really organised ourselves again. If you wanted to let me have your phone number I could certainly alert you to any activity that might happen. It is quite possible that a few of us will organise visits to each others gardens over the summer and this is usually a really nice, social occasion. I'm sorry that this is probably not very helpful.
