Enrich compost - from green waste only and sterile, so suitable for children to work with, was kindly donated by Tim Duggan of Enrich
It was delivered to the school today to get ready for potting after midterm break

The clean up started with great gusto with some great help from Mam’s Dads grandparents and loads of enthusiastic little helpers - who really worked hard... thank you one and all!
Just to say many hands make light work and everyone really put their backs into it I’ve lovely photos before and after but all too large to upload on Change X

Pots for planting up after midterm - each child has their own pot and there are gloves and trowels for a class of 20 to work away merrily😃🌱🌱

Idea for garden - I’ve seen a returnable Xmas tree scheme in UK but we could do this at CR for each family on an opt out basis and very easily
Each family receives a potted tree for Xmas to use in pot and return for care at garden throughout the year until they finish shool or want to stop or keep it for planting at home
Reduces co2 and helps with tree recycling plus kiddies can mind their own named tree?
I think I can get trees donated and we have 2 tonnes of compost so should manage 100 small trees or so... what would you all think?
