Welcome to the Grace Park CycleBus Community! The Cyclebus initiative is about giving primary school children the opportunity to cycle to school in a safe, healthy, social, and enjoyable environment. It’s about community involvement where parents, grandparents, teachers, and volunteers all create the conditions for this to happen. Help us cut pollution and traffic congestion around schools. Together we can create safe and healthy environments in our neighbourhood, while also empowering children to become responsible and active. We hope to share the freedom and joy of cycling with more children and to inspire a lifelong love of cycling. Thanks for joining!

Hi, I'll be looking to join the cycle bus in the next few months. I'm going from Charlemont to the Learning Tree. Drop off arrangements vary but I'm hoping to have my 3.5 year old son cycling soon with his younger brother on the back of my bike. What time do you typically get to Gracepark Terrace at?, as that's where I'd probably join. Anyway, keep up the good work, great that there is something like this in the local area.
What a fantastic end to bike week last Friday with our biggest cyclebus EVER followed by yummy breakfast for bikers at school! Thanks to everyone who took part!
We've run the cyclebus every school day since we started in May. As the road our school is on is busy and the road and footpaths are narrow, with no cycling infrastructure, it is not very accessible or safe for young children to cycle. By cycling together, we're enabling families to cycle to school. The kids love it and we've become a great little cycling community.
So far, our changex funding has enabled us to print posters to raise awareness about the cyclebus, and to purchase lights and high-vis for children and parents.
Just bought a pannier full of lights for all those dark mornings ahead! Thanks ChangeX!
Great to be back in the saddle with Grace Park Cycle Bus today for the start of term!
Lovely to meet representatives from the #SchoolZones initiative this morning. It's great to have the support from the Council. Hopefully they'll be able to strengthen our case for better cycling infrastructure to enable more people to get safely to school by bike!
Rolling on and on..... Happy days on Grace Park Cycle bus!
Hard to believe it's the start of week 4 of Grace Park Cyclebus! What a super way to start the day!
So delighted with our snazzy new "Bus Scoile" vests. A huge thank you to Fergus from the Belgrove Cycle Bus crew for sharing these. So nice to meet more of the Cycle Bus community and to feel part of this growing movement.
hello
Hi Colm, Great to hear you'd like to join the bus! We usually get to the corner of Gracepark Terrace at about 8:15/8:20. Hopefully see you there some morning soon!
