Thank you for joining "Dinner Together Minneapolis." Our group continues to grow! It's exciting to see so many members of our local community interested in opening their homes to host newcomer families.
I have been able to secure collaboration with a local refugee resettlement agency. They will offer this opportunity to their families, and together we will work to match members of our group with local refugee and immigrant families. Our hope is to start hosting our first dinners in March!!
The initial idea is to have our members host small dinners at their home. If you are interested in hosting at your home please response to me privately so I can add you to our host list. Another option is to co-host a dinner with another local family. In this case, please respond and indicate if you would like to co-host at your own home or at another's home. In your response please also include information about your family that will help us in the matching process. Our hope is to match families with children at similar ages, or with similar interests.
