Hello In June 2022 we held a streetfest in our estate it was a great success and gave lots of neighbours who had previously not met got a chance to socialise talking. With the funding we received we purchased a seat for our green area and play equipment for the children of the estate. We also purchases litter pick up sticks to help keep our estate clean, we have introduces the children to leave no trace principles. Mothers of young children have somewhere to sit while supervising their children playing. The children of the estate use it as a meeting spot. Anyone looking to have a chat can sit and due to its location on the path people stop and have a chat. It has been a great success. We held another streetfest in June 2023 and it again it was a great success so I believe it will be an annual event. Thank you for supporting out communioty in getting to know each other,

We would like to use the money to buy play equipment. We would buy a storage container and fill it with badmenton rackets and shuttles and balls and a bat. We would set up a permenant badmenton /volleyball net on one part of green and some goal posts on the other side of the green.We would buy a bench where parents could sit and watch children play. We might also set up a rounders course between goal posts. We hope to encourage the children of our estate to spend more time playing with each other outside this Summer and less time on their screens. We are hosting a Street feast this Sunday and are planning a games day to encourage the young people to play together..
