We can help you bring the benefits of native woodlands into the heart of your town and community: connecting people with nature, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change, increasing biodiversity and providing wildlife habitats.
The Living Woodlands Tiny Forest ethos is not just about restoring nature: it is about creating a healthy environment, where people can interact with native woodlands. We want to create a natural habitat for people in urban areas and it is essential that the local community, and in particular children, are involved in the planting and stewardship of the forest. Ideally, each forest is adopted by a local school or crèche and the children are involved in the planting day. Furthermore, every Tiny Forest has an outdoor classroom area. The forest also serves as an amenity and meeting place for people to experience and enjoy the physical and mental benefits of reconnecting with nature.
