Hello everyone - we hope that you are all keeping well and managing to get some seeds planted in the hope of better days to come. To those of you who have joined us recently, just to let you know that we will get to our monthly meetings (2nd Saturday of the month) in Airfield House Dundrum, just as soon as circumstances permit. In the meantime we will post occasional links to other websites that may be of interest to you. For today we think you might like this great section of the National Gallery of Ireland on weeds!! It might even make you think a bit more kindly about them as you try to pull them out of your veg plot or your window box. We hope you enjoy it.
We have just heard from Airfield that they will be closing on Thursday evening and re-opening at the end of March. We hope to reschedule Ann's talk as soon after that as she is free.
GIY Dundrum will be meeting in Airfield on Saturday 14th at 10.30. Ann McEwan will be giving a talk entitled "What is climate change and what can we do about it?" Ann is the organiser of GIY Clondalkin and is a climate ambassador for An Taisce so this is a talk that is well worth hearing. As always we welcome questions about seeds, plants getting ready for Spring etc. looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great article. Often overlooked.
