1. Our climate kids held a Kids Climate Conference where they learned about a girl called Greta Thunberg, (who was their age when she sat outside the parliament). They learned about the magic machine that grows itself and sucks bad gasses from the air (George Monbiot).

2. They voted on what they wanted to do-and voted to plant trees to reduce pollution.

3. They voted to go see a Forest so we brought them to 2! One with paths -Killiney Hill and one that is a natural forest-no paths.....they loved playing in nature and got to see what nature should look like.

4. They got to learn how big and wide a base of a tree can get-by climbing them! (Which they are usually not allowed to do)

Every Monday from 2.45 to 4.30pm Ballybrack Climate Action will be teaching a climate action class to the "Peas In A Pod" aged 10-13 years.
