A big thank you to AWS for making our training a success!!! Some of up met where we had our mini tech talk and had dinner together. It was indeed a great meeting.
The AWS funding has helped to facilitate women's training in web app development incorporating AI with the help of Amazon web services.
Participants were equipped with the skill set required to contribute effectively to initiate innovation in the workplace and personal projects. In addition, participants collaboratively practised design thinking on real-world problems and opportunities.
The majority of the training was centred on technical training. The modules covered are listed below:
Web Applications(HTML, CSS and Javascript)
Introduction to Python programming language
Introduction to AWS Cloud services
Before the end of this program. One of our participants already secured a role in one of the multinational organisations in a related field. The enthusiasm displayed by this set of women was awe-inspiring, and some of them are going ahead to apply their skills in their businesses.
More awareness has been created, and more opportunities for women to apply their skills in an area that contributes to economic development in the community.
Future role models are being created.

In partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Phase Innovate presents its maiden Artificial Intelligence(AI) Technology Training this August 'Drogheda Women in AI'. The program is designed to train participants on how to solve real business problems by utilizing data to construct algorithms and to create applications that businesses could use to gain insights from their business data, therefore helping in their decision-making process.
