Our annual GIY Dundrum quiz will take place this Saturday (13th) inAirfield. Many thanks to our friends in Clondalkin GIY for taking on the quiz master roles. We will be in Airfield as usual at 10.30 and the quiz will start around 11.15. Please bring along any family and friends who might be interested. It is always a fun event. We are also looking for donations of spare cucumber and courgette plants for a GIYer whose crop failed this year. Please help if you can.

Welcome to Lili and Rebecca who have joined the group. We hope that you will all be able to join us on Saturday (11th) in Airfield at 10.30. We are delighted that Elizabeth Wilson from Airfield's garden team will be joining us to talk about growing vegetables in difficult plots/conditions.
We are looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday next at 10.30 in Airfield.
This meeting has a spring feel to it with a talk from our own Rosa Stevens with tips about planting and growing at this time of year. We will also have a seed and plant swop, so if you have any spare seeds or plants please bring them along.
Welcome to our new members - we hope that you will enjoy being part of GIY Dundrum. Usually we meet on the 2nd Saturday of the month, however, we have decided to cancel the meeting March 9th because our meeting would clash with an organic gardening class with Kitty Scully in Airfield.
However we will be back as usual on April 13th at 10.30 in Airfield and that meeting will include a seed and plant swop. If you are planting soon, please consider putting in a few extra seeds so that you have something to swop at that meeting.
Welcome to our new members, we hope you will be able to join us at our monthly meeting in Airfield on February 9th at 10.30. This month our talk is on Green Manure and we are lucky to have one of Airfield's own gardeners, Martina Dunne giving the talk. Martina has also offered to do a walk around of the estate to show us some of the green manures that they use.
