Welcome to Niall, Bobby and Kate who have recently joined this group. Just to let you and the rest of the group know that the next meeting of Dundrum GIY will take place on Saturday next, May 12th. We will be visiting the wonderful community garden in St.Brigid's National School in Stillorgan, if you have not been there before, you may have seen it on the 'Grow, Cook, Eat' programme on RTE.
The plan is to meet at 10.30 in Airfield as usual and to go from there to St.Brigids. This means that we can car share or anyone who doesn't know the way can follow someone who does.
Welcome Dervila, Ena, Orla, Deirdre, Ali, Niall, Kate, Sorcha, and Maria and everyone else who has joined in the last few weeks.
This is to let you know that the next meeting of GIY Dundrum will take place on Saturday next, April 14th in Airfield at 10.30.
At that meeting we will have a talk from Elaine Butler who is very involved in a group that aims to reduce use of plastics and she will talk about reducing use of plastics in our gardens.
We will also have our usual plant and seed swop and sharing of advice on dealing with problems in the garden.
Welcome to our new members. Just to remind you that we will be meeting in Airfield, Dundrum on Saturday next, March 24th at 10.30. We are going to be talking about how our gardens have survived the snow and what we are planting. If anyone has seeds or seedlings to bring along and share/swop that would be great.
Welcome to all our new members! Thanks for signing up to GIYDundrum. We hope that you will come along and join us at our meeting on Saturday February 10th in the lovely Airfield House in Dundrum at 10.30. This month we are looking at keeping bees and keeping a garden that will attract bees! Hope to see you there.

You are very welcome to meet us in St Brigid's! I imagine we will arrive not long after 11 - you cannot get locked out as everything will take place in the garden which is completely open access!
I missed the last GIY (I've just joined) but would love to come along to the one in Saint Brigid's Stillorgan. Could I meet you there? Stillorgan is much closer to me than Dundrum and I'll be coming by bike. At what time will you be there and how do I gain access in case I'm locked out, as I don't have contact details for the organiser... Many thanks for organising. Dervila
Sorry can’t make this one, looking forward to the next! 😊
