As you all know, we are launching the very first Sustainable Fashion Week hub in Brighton this fall and the event is really starting to take shape! We now have a venue booked (at one of Brighton’s most iconic locations, the Brighton Dome!), dates are set (30/09 to 01/10) and the Sustainable Fashion Week head office team in Bristol have already announced the Brighton hub on their website.
We are also putting together a program of speakers, discussion panelists and presenters for that weekend who will contribute to a mix of offerings throughout the weekend including presentations (i.e. book promotions, top tips on activism and making change, second hand styling tips), multi-contributor discussion panels and talks with sustainable influencers - very similar to the SFW Bristol hub talks programme last year. (Spoiler alert - we’ve already got Venetia La Manna signed up as a contributor!)
As we are getting closer to the date, we'd really like to start building a team of fabulous people to help organise the event. We are planning an SFW Brighton project kickoff meeting in the next couple weeks to share plans and begin delegating coordinators for the different offerings of SFW and we’d love for you to join!
