The stage was built and in less than 2 hours the children had a fully scripted, directed, cast, propped show. Recycling goods in the garden. Heart melted. They already have 2 gigs for August.

To have our Elders, our Seniors harvesting in our Come-Unity Joy Garden was everything. Really... Saturday is the birthday of our precious Mother Luckett. It's her Sweet 16, she announced. And gathered vegetables as we listened to stories of her growing up.

Our Come-Unity Joy Garden Budget wishlist as I'm not sure realistically if the funding from ChangeX will come through. But, bulldozing is vital to our garden's cultivation and sustainability. So, that is our first step at this point. Leveling the land where sheer man power isn't enough. We have a diligent committed group of voLOVEteers invested. That's huge. Now, the goal is to make the space appealing enough to plant, clean, work, visit, linger, play, socialize, share, harvest, cook, create and commune.
