Our STEAM Project had a huge impact on our school. The insight gained about DNA was phenomenal.
The children completed workshops through the activities provided in the STEAM box. Fabulous insights were gained. Collaborative learning was to the fore. Team work and co-operative skills grew in tandem with the Science knowledge and skills. The project allowed for the working alongside a scientist. This has really affected the way our students now look at science and some are even considering it as a career. Wonderful project and thanks to Change X for making this happen.

Changing the World One Child at a time
We have a vision for the children to be experts at STEM.
The following actions have been carried out as part of our Action Plan:
A pupil council has been set up to lead the Science Plan.
We will enter a team into the RDS Science Expo.
Peer learning will take place between the lead pupil council and younger pupil classes.
A comprehensive list of science experiments have been prepared.
A catalogue of required resources has been developed.
Timetabling for the carrying out of experiments and the acquisition of resources have been developed.
We have achieved: Active learning. Colloboration. Vision. Results.
