Our pocket forest started today, Catherine came down and a few of our Tidytowns group got involved in helping out. We did trojan work the first stage is now complete. We dug the earth in the shape of a kidney and the dug the earth to aerate the area, then add natural fertiliser and seaweed, we add sticks and pieces of wood underneath the soil. Then we soaked the whole area and put cardboard on top 🐛🐜🦋🐌🐚🦟🕷️🦗🐞🥀🌱🌲
We are getting our young girls guides involved in our Biodiversity garden project.

We are working away on our project and really getting people in our community involved. To sustain the earth’s biodiversity, we’ll need new protections and better enforcement of the existing ones. We have about a decade to achieve urgent, transformative change.
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the scale and complexity of the threats that currently face life on our planet, but I firmly believe that with enough passion, dedication, and cooperation, we really can make a difference.” All working together as a community and educatung people more about our planet
