One of the most impactful events that the Limerick Chapter supported last year was to host a stall at the University of Limerick Career fairs so we can share the career possibilities for Remote Working. This is now more important than ever to engage the students to highlight what jobs are out there and the new skills that they need to win these remote jobs and to tell them about the value of joining a Grow Remote Chapter to be part of this new community. As a non-profit, Grow Remote has been invited to host another stand at the online career fair on the 10th of March between 12noon and 4pm. We are asking for volunteers to participate on the day to speak with students and tell them about Grow Remote and the remote job opportunities that are out there. This will require a briefing session prior to the day and then to be online during the 4 hours to engage with Students. Please let me know if this is of interest. Much appreciated.

The UL Spring Careers Fair 2021 will be hosted online on Wednesday 10th March. The Fair will be open to students from 12.00pm to 4.00pm. The Fair will be hosted online using the GraduateLand portal; the portal makes it very easy to match students to the employer and offers opportunities to customise your stall with open positions, videos and other marketing collateral whilst giving you the ability to chat with students through web chat or video. We will run training sessions in advance of the fair.
