Car boot packed for trip to recycling bins. 22 plastic bottles @ 20g each = 440g of plastic & 52 cans @ 16g each = 832g of aluminium recycled from litter collected on my daily walks. I don’t have enough hands sometimes!
We can add 8 to that total - Marie you have motivated me to go through my bag and recycle 4 cans and 4 plastic bottles!
If anyone wants a spare water hippo please message me. I'm not brave enough to install the 2nd one 😂

Today’s litter pick with Enniscorthy Tidy Towns, with Eimear & we gathered recyclables (16 glass bottles, 45 aluminium cans (720g) & 34 plastic bottles (680g). I recycled the glass & cans at the bottle bank on Island Road & recycled the plastic at home. The hardest part is taking the selfies!
Litter from Roadside clean - gathered, washed, squashed & recycled: 11 plastic bottles @20g ea. = 220g, 27 aluminium cans @16g ea. = 432g.

Brilliant Dervla. Can you give a rough estimate of how many items of clothing in total? We get 10 points for every 21 garments recycled.
