Log in for the first of our new monthly M1 Grow Remote meetings. The series of meetings will give remote workers in the Drogheda / East Meath region an opportunity to learn from each other, discuss common issues, and also offer a social outlet.
The first monthly meetup will be an opportunity to explore how we can support each other, and will include a short presentation from consultant, Lorraine Murphy, on the 'Top 10 tips for successful remote working'.
Lorraine Murphy is a highly effective consultant and trainer who helps business owners and managers to develop strategies and action plans in order deliver a cohesive team aligned to organisational objectives goals. She is an accomplished executive coach and soft skills trainer with over 20 years’ experience working in training and consultancy across public, private & SME sectors. She has a proven track record in helping companies to develop and implement results-driven strategies focusing on people performance programmes. She takes a bespoke approach to each client which helps to deliver quick wins and long term improvements to efficiency, productivity and culture.
The aim of Grow Remote is to build a community and ecosystem around remote workers and then to grow it so that we can increase the number of employment opportunities available in local communities. The Grow Remote community consists of co-working managers, freelancers, nomads, remote workers and remote working companies who believe that all 3 i.e. jobs, workers and communities need to move together to enable our communities to thrive.
There are 14,992 skilled workers (Census 2016) leaving the Drogheda / East Meath region every day Building a thriving remote working community in any town or village presents a great opportunity for both economic development and the social landscape of the area.
Grow Remote, through events and a burgeoning network of local Chapters (over 100 Chapters across 12 countries), is building the network for all things remote working.
