Please let me know if you're able to make our first meeting and launch of the Slane Open Orchard project at StrawFest on Sunday 30th Sept at 11.30am. I have experience with ordering fruit trees and we need to get our order in before the Winter is upon. So if you have friends and neighbours interested please get numbers of trees that they are looking to plant in the gardens etc. Trees can be planted up to 1.5m apart. Any representatives of local organisations like Tidy Towns, Pride of Place, the Terraces and other local street schemes are all welcome to attend. Look forward to seeing you then!
