Hello Grow Remote Sligo members,
Are you here because you are passionate about remote work and helping others to live, work and participate locally?
If yes, we are looking for volunteers to be part of the Chapter Lead Team and help make remote work local in Sligo Town.
Chapter lead team members typically get involved with:
- Arranging local meet-ups to connect local remote workers. Think coffee or after work drinks or hosting a remote worker event with guest speakers or joining other community events together as a remote worker group.
- Raise awareness of the remote employers that we are friends with and the other +55K remote jobs available. Think about sharing remote jobs online or at offline events and places.
- Helping others learn more about the skills needed to work remotely through your own knowledge and experience or helping them discover any of the free short training courses available.
- Connecting and collaborating with local hubs / co-working spaces as a place to work from for your chapter members and visitors to the local area.
We also have a FREE training course that will start on Monday 22nd Nov. This is where we share our “Community in a Box” through a mix of self paced online learning and live sessions that will help you get an insight to Grow Remote & local chapters, build new skills and give you access to community resources.
