Welcome to the Grow Remote Ashford Wicklow chapter! This group was set up in November 2018 and is run by volunteers. We are keen to build a thriving community of remote workers in and around Ashford/ Newtownmountkennedy  in Co. Wicklow. Regardless of your industry, background and whether you're already working remotely or you're interested in exploring remote work, we're keen to hear from you.

We have a dual goal:

  • connect remote workers in the region, share stories and support each other
  • enable the 70% of surveyed commuters who said they would take a similar job in Wicklow if available, to actually find remote work

Today is the day! Our first meeting takes place in Ashford. Sheila from the Ashford Community & Heritage Centre had kindly offered the use of the Heritage Room to host our first meeting.
See you there from 6:30pm, we'll have some drinks and nibbles to get us going until 8:30pm. Looking forward to meeting you all later!
