With the help of additional funding, the team got an opportunity to buy additional equipment like spike prime and additional lego pieces to build and design more complex attachments for the robot to complete the missions. Get team spirit shirt, sanitizers, Lego piece organizers, and had some fun activities Additionally team learned following skills which are not only in the area of STEM but also how to deal with other areas in the world. Some of the key skills team learned are Self-confidence, Digital skills (python programming), Teamwork, Social skills, Motivation in the STEM area, Tolerance with regards to others.
They also identified the benefit of doing the research to help the community, friends, family, and nationally. Some of the areas they identified are
•People would be more active and lead a healthier lifestyle.
•Benefited people can start a social chain reaction with their near and dear ones.
•It will show people that staying fit is rewarding and that the process can be fun.
As a mentor and a coach for the team, I was able to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators by engaging them in the program which involves science, engineering, and technology skills along with learning Core values that help in well-rounded life capabilities.
