Our Steering Committee has met and decided to move ahead with our formation activities. We are developing plans, membership application, mission statement, and a dues structure.
Our Next meeting is Friday November 9, at 12:30PM at the Lake Padden Golf Course - Cafe. Come join us for lunch and discussions.
Great First Organizing meeting held at the Bellingham Senior Center September, 12. We had 16 interested guys show up. Discussed how a Men's Shed would work here in Bellingham had lots of questions. Eleven of those attending for the first time signed up to continue their involvement with our start-up efforts. That makes 22 guys willing to go ahead with making the Bellingham Men's Shed a reality.
Also of note: the Senior Center agreed to help sponsor or efforts long term.
This is the beginning of our Bellingham Shed. A few key individuals are interested and have gathered to discuss, recommend, suggest, partner and Plan for the future of a Men's Shed group here in the Northwest Corner of Washington.
